Three Finger Salute
The "three finger salute" is a humorous way of referring to the old method of rebooting a computer - pressing control, alt and delete simultaneously.

The chief engineer of the IBM PC project, David Bradley, created this combination as a soft reboot function that would require two hands and thus not be triggered accidentally. This function was meant to be used by developers but when an IBM manual contained this reference the general public became aware of it and began to use it as well.

Use Example - "That's it!" John exclaimed. "I've had it with this computer and I'm giving it the three finger salute!"
