Forbidden Fruit
"Forbidden fruit" is something that is desired but not allowed.

The phrase "forbidden fruit" originates from the Bible in the Book of Genesis 2:16-17 when Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden, eat an apple. This was forbidden by God as His commandment was given: And the Lord God commanded the man, saying Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eate. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eate of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die."

Use Example - Samuel knew that much as he would like to hire Sandy, since she worked for one of their competitors she was forbidden fruit.
